Naturalization approved for Political Activist

Attorney Mooradian's client, a former political activist from Colombia, recently received the approval of his Naturalization petition.  The client was concerned that his political activism, his membership in a political party, and his previous work as a security officer might prevent him from receiving naturalization or could cause questions at the time of interview.  Mooradian was able to explain to the officer that the applicant had received asylum in the United States and remained eligible for citizenship.  Following a number of clarifications by the attorney, the client's application for Naturalization was approved.  He will soon be sworn in as a United States Citizen.
